Faultergeist by Nikhil Kunche Book Review

Faultergeist by Nikhil Kunche is a collection of thirty emotional poems that pushes readers to think deeply. Coined by the author himself, the word "Faultergeist" means a "ghostly presence that presents moments of hesitation or doubt." Here, the author actually deals with various shades of emotion. On one hand, he explores darkness; on the other, he shows the path of light. The book deals with self discovery amidst the despair and loneliness in this mundane world. The poet handles delicate topics like family ties and internal conflicts very sensitively.

The poet speaks straight about the emptiness of metropolises. But the beauty of Faultergeist is that one can find light in the darkness. Filled with vivid imagery and emotional descriptions, the poems in this collection speak directly to one's soul. Each and every poem in this collection is reflective. Though these poems deal with very complex emotions, the authors creative presentation and simple approach make them comprehensible to a wide range of audiences. Though the collection contains only a few number of pages, but the poems in this collection are very deep. One needs to cherish each and every one of them slowly to fully understand them. The poet has dipped his nib in the ink of universal emotions to craft each of the poem so skillfully that the readers are bound to feel connected. In this world where most suggest to "fit in,"  "Faultergeists" talk about prioritising oneself and promotes self-love. Overall, I highly recommend this poetry collection.
