The Kimoni Legacy: Initiation Book Review
• 𝕭𝖔𝖔𝖐 𝕽𝖊𝖛𝖎𝖊𝖜 •
Kimoni legacy: Initiation by Omari Richards is an epic fantasy saga. It's the story of three siblings with noble backgrounds: Kamau Kimoni, Raziya Kimoni and Masilo Kimoni. The book follows Masilo, Kamau, and Raziya in their quest for independence, truth, and honor.
Kimoni Legacy: Initiation, is a fast paced fantasy read. It is multi dimensional. The author has done a marvelous job at creating an afro-centric world. Fantasy reads with magic and heroes are cool, but fantasy reads with rich cultural elements, ethics and ethnicity representation and morals as well as values are pure gold! In this regard, I absolutely loved this book. I love how the land of Nahwalla has been represented. The book features wide range of characters that represents people of different values in real world. The author gives ample focus on the supporting characters too apart from the trio lead. The story has been told from multiple viewpoints by a third person narrator. I loved how the author slowly unfolds secrets with an interesting flow that keeps one hooked. The book cooks slowly but blooms beautifully. It takes enough time to build a good setting to establish a solid base for the plot.

The book has multiple intersecting plot-lines that reminds me of Game of Thrones. But, authors skillful narrative technique keeps things simple so that readers don't get confused. If you enjoy politics in your reads, you are going to love Kimoni Legacy. Another thing I would like to mention is: Dialogues! I have highlighted so many good quotes. The prose quality is elegant. It properly maintains the vibe of the book. With well built setting, breathtaking adventure, gorgeous dialogues, twisted politics, creative characterisation and ethnic representation, Kimoni Legacy: Initiation is a must read for all fantasy readers.
