So this year there were six nominees with wide-ranging topics. stories about climate change dementia, struggling life of Zimbabwe to the woman soldiers of Ethiopia all are covered. The competition was fierce. Finally, the wait is over. I am not gonna give you the reality shows suspense rather I am just gonna say aloud the winner’s name. So, Booker 2020 is awarded to Shuggie Bain. It is Douglas Sturt’s debut novel. Sturt is a Scottish American Author. The novel is also a finalist for Kirkus prize for fiction. It deals with a very sensitive topic. The story of a childhood affected by Poverty and addiction in 1980, Glasgow has been wonderfully pictured here.
